- Kaplan Ponders
- It’s a fair question, “Kaplan ponders what?” So now I’m pondering about pondering and you're beginning to get a glimpse into the twists and turns my brain takes. The main focus of my career was making it safe and attractive for people to get around using “active transportation”, which includes walking, bicycling, scooters and any other human powered conveyance. You know those things with one big fat wheel in the middle and a little platform to stand on. What the heck do you call those anyway? See, there’s something I ponder. I’m also interested in the current state of world affairs, as grim as it can sometimes seem. There are things to be hopeful about as well, if you can ignore the occasional Hawaiian island going up in flames. I have a real love for music, movies, TV and fiction, especially by my favorite author, Mr. Stephen King. So sometimes I’ll delve into something along those lines. So, I think you’re in for a treat, or at least a different perspective. I hope you enjoy this. I look forward to hearing from you.
